The German Immersion Foundation believes in the value and benefits of a bilingual education. To this goal, the Foundation was created to enhance and support the programs of the Milwaukee German Immersion School and the Milwaukee School of Languages - both part of the Milwaukee Public Schools.
The German Immersion Foundation provides the extra support necessary to maintain and build excellence in the teaching and educational programs that have won national and international acclaim for our schools and our children.
Our Mission
The German Immersion Foundation supports the Milwaukee German
Immersion School (MGIS) and the Milwaukee School of Languages (MSL)
by providing the additional resources to fully fund programs needed to
prepare children to excel in the competitive global marketplace.
