The German Immersion Foundation believes in the value and benefits of a bilingual education. To this goal, the Foundation was created to enhance and support the programs of the Milwaukee German Immersion School and the Milwaukee School of Languages - both part of the Milwaukee Public Schools.
The German Immersion Foundation provides the extra support necessary to maintain and build excellence in the teaching and educational programs that have won national and international acclaim for our schools and our children.
Our Mission
The German Immersion Foundation, Inc. (GIF) was founded in 2001 as a fundraising entity to benefit the Milwaukee German Immersion School and the Milwaukee School of Languages, both Milwaukee Public Schools.
